Come dance with me...

Aguanile: It's suppose to mean a limpia, a cleansing of one's soul. Many believe that when Hector Lavoe, the original singer of this song was going through his drug problem, this song was created. The song is a passionate song. Which is funny how passion can translate into different many meanings. If you listen to the sound, the rhythm of the beat, the discrete undertone of romance, the intriguing yet mesmerizing sound, you can almost forget about what the singer was saying. I hope you enjoy and have a nice dance for Thursday. =)

  3. Yes it does! =) It's always fun to hit the dance floor when salsa music comes on. I love to hear it in clubs because the bass is way more intense. Thank you for responding! =)

  4. Didn't he sing this on American Idol while Jennifer Lopez shimmied around in a glittery dress? For some reason, that image is coming to my mind. It was pretty fiery! I liked it. :)

  5. Janene he sung this in a movie called El Cantante and if I'm correct, there was a scene when Jennifer Lopez was wearing a shinny dress and dancing around. lol. However it does put you in mind of American Idol and that might have happened. In the movie, he was portraying a famous salsa singer by the name of Hector Lavoe. This song Aguanile and many others went famous because he did pretty good job at imitating Hector's sound. If you want, I don't know if you have, but you should check out Hector Lavoe so you can see the similarities between the two in singing. There's some difference only because their different individuals.
