Same Zodiac sign completely different

Have you ever read your zodiac sign or met someone who is the same sign as you but you have nothing in common with that person? Have you ever met people of a different zodiac sign but have more in common with that person then the person you share a sign with? For those who don't believe in the zodiac, one would say none of that stuff is real; it sort of falls under the same umbrella as religion. The difference: If there's 10 people that are a Gemini, there's at least four of them that fall under the description of a Gemini personality. What about the other 6? Well depending on the week they were born in under Gemini, their personality will differ. This differ that one sees is called decans. In each decan, the star sign of that person changes, combining with other signs and energy influence from other planets. When people talk about a sign, they're talking about the first decan of that sign. Usually the first decan of every sign sets the mode for what a sign is like but usually by the time the third decan arises, the personality is completely different from the first and is usually on the cusp with a neighboring sign; this is seen at the very beginning of first decans as well.

How do these decan's work? This can get complicated so before I discuss what a decan is, I'm going to break down the quality and element of each sign. Among the 12 zodiac signs, all are assigned to an element, 4 elements, 3 a piece. The fire signs are Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, the air signs are Aquarius, Gemini, Libra, the earth signs are Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo and the Water signs are Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio. All of the twelve signs have a  quality, mutable, fixed, or cardinal. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. The cardinals signs are said to be the ones to set a blaze, the initiators of the zodiac. Each one of these signs are found at the beginning and end of a season. For example, Capricorn starts at the beginning of Winter, end of fall. Next is the Mutable signs which are Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. These signs are known to be the most flexible and highly adoptable to any situation, these are the chameleons of the zodiac. These signs are found at the end of a season usually ushering in the change; hence mutable and the switch of seasons. Next would be the fixed signs which is Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. These are the sings of stability, firm, and dependable. These signs are the complete opposite of  the mutable signs and they don't really care for change. These signs are found dead smack in the middle of a season symbolic for being fixed. If its summer, its summer and its not changing.

Now that you understand the above part, let me show you what planet rules each sign. This is important so you can understand the decans better. Aries is ruled by Mars, Taurus is ruled by Venus, Gemini is ruled by Mercury, Cancer is ruled by the Moon, Leo is ruled by the Sun, Virgo = Mercury, Libra = Venus, Scorpio = Mars/Pluto, Sagittarius = Jupiter, Capricorn = Saturn, Aquarius = Saturn/Uranus, Pisces = Neptune/Jupiter/Moon and at one point I guess Venus...I'll go with Neptune because that's a shit ton of planets ruling one sign. Each planet defines that sign. For example, Venus is the goddess of beauty and love. So any sign falling under Venus is usually associated with beauty, love, sex, the arts...Libra and Taurus. Any sign falling under Mercury is associated with communication and intelligence, Gemini and Virgo. How does this play into decans? What is a decan?

A decan is a sign that is broken up into three categories with in a 10 day period. Among these three categories, the first decan is in its truest form. For example, the first decan of Aries is March 21st- March 30th making it Aries-Aries, ruled by Mars, and a Cardinal sign. The second decan, March31-April 9th changes Aries. The sign becomes ruled by Mars/Sun making it more Leo like and changing the quality of the sign to be more cardinal/fixed. As you move into the third decan, April 10th-20th, the planets change again and its ruled by Mars/Jupiter making Aries more Sagittarius like and Cardinal/mutable. As this decan moves closer to the 20th of the month, it begins to cusp with Taurus. Those born on a cusp are a combination of the last decan of a sign and the first decan of the sign ahead. Usually when people are talking about a sign, there usually talking about the first decans because the first decan is usually what the average zodiac chart goes by; however the personality traits may not fit your personality because you have a second, sometimes third planetary influence. For example, you might be a Leo but because one is a third decan Leo (third decan Leo is also ruled by Mars = Aries) one is more Aries like. You may find as a third decan Leo, you get along with Libras better than people who are part of the first decan Leo. The reason being is because Aries and Libra compliment each other extremely well and get along with each other well thus making the third decan Leo, compatible with Libras because your sign, your decan is in Aries. get it?

Typically signs that don't get along with each other, may find they get along with each other. For example, Taurus is usually compatible with other earth signs and water sings; however Taurus is a fixed sign so usually the first decan of Taurus gets along with first decan Leo. Leo= Fixed, Taurus = fixed. As  we move into the second decan of Taurus, one may find the compatibility between Taurus and Leo diminish. The second decan of Taurus  has a secondary influence and that influence is Mercury, Mercury = Virgo. The second decan of Taurus becomes mutable combined with a fixed quality. Usually this decan may find it to be more compatible with other mutable signs or mutable decans. For example, my Cousin and his wife. My cousin is born on December 4th and his Wife is born on May 14th. My cousin is a Sagittarius which is a mutable sign, but his decan is in Aries which makes him mutable/cardinal. His wife is a Taurus which is a fixed sign but her decan is in Virgo which make her fixed/mutable. What they have in common is they're both flexible to change; despite the fact that she's earth and he's fire, and part of her has a fixed quality, it works. The cardinal allows this to happen. While my cousin starts things and wants to constantly change it, his wife doesn't mind the change but she'll make sure it gets done and see it through because that's what fixed signs are known for; she's able to change but keep her eye on the end game.

I know all of this may have been a tad bit confusing but if you would like to know more about your zodiac sign, I'll leave a website link in the comments. On this page, its show's every decan for all 12 signs. So if I didn't touch on your sign in this write I apologize, however I hope this was a clear start to why you and someone of the same sign  may seem so different, the decans really change the outlook, affect the personality of the signs, and the slight change in quality can add more zest, or tone down a sign making it compatible with other personalities or signs its typically not compatible with. Hope you enjoy and if you have any questions or would like to share more information, please feel free to leave your inquiries or opinions in the comments section below. One last thing before you leave, if you can click on the green or red links before you leave I would gladly appreciate it. Once again thank you for stopping by No Title. Peace.

Health benefits of Water

A lot of people tend to forget about that one element that embodies who we are and all life on this planet: water. I know it sounds funny to think, but there are a lot of people out there who are dehydrated and will drink Gatorade, lemonade, or any other beverage before a glass of water. Sure, those other beverages contain water, but they also contain other things that will keep one thirsty. In order for one to stay properly hydrated, one must drink 8 glasses of water a day; to some that may sound like a lot but its not when you think about the 32oz soda, 1 liter bottle, or 12 oz can of soda you drink. Those beverages could be replaced with water, less calories, and an over all better appearance. So what can water do for you? I'll show you a few things water can help with.

Skin- A lot of people who neglect to drink water usually have dry skin. Our bodies, a year after birth is 65% water which is a 10% drop from when we were born. As we get older the number begins to change;  60% water (for men) and 55% (for women)  so when we fail to drink it, the first thing you'll notice is a constant need to put on lotion or buy high end moisturizing products. Instead of spending a ton of money on product you don't need, remember a case of water is no more than $5. At Sam's Club, they have bottled water, 40 in a case for under $4. If not there, every store sales water at a decent price. Get water. The moisture your high end product claims to lock in, drinking water does the same thing by using moisturizer, which creates a physical barrier by keeping moisture in.

BM- Short for Bowel movement. =) Yes, people who drink less water have a tendency to be constipated all the time. Water helps to break down food and keep you metabolism flowing smoothly. When you don't get enough fluid, the colon pulls water from stool to maintain hydration which results in constipation. If for some reason you can't drink water through out the day, fruits and vegetables like Watermelon, strawberries and etc are foods that contain high amounts of water and can help with one containing water, not to mention, fruits and veggies are high in fiber and also help with BM problems.

Calorie control- Have you ever finished a meal and say to yourself, "I'm still hungry!" It's either one or two things: you're  under calorie count or you have not drank enough water.  Drinking anything with ones meal can control how much you eat, a glass of water has no calories and you can drink as much as you want until you feel full. Drinking half a liter of water  increases metabolism by 24-30% for up to 1.5 hours. Drinking 2 liters of water every day can increase ones energy expenditure up to 96 calories a day.

Hangover- I'm sure everyone knows this by now but for those who don't know, water is your best friend after every alcoholic drink. Usually for every drink you have, it should be accompanied by a glass of water.  Alcohol dehydrates you and sucks you dry; water restores that instantly and prevents that pounding feeling in ones head the next morning. My experience showed me water kind of slows you down from taking that next shot or beer; because water makes you full. The chances of you wanting to keep drinking and pissing all night is slim; unless your okay with that. Just remember, if not after every drink, at some point during the night, have a glass or two and a huge glass before you call it a night.

Muscle fuel- Besides protein drinks, water helps fuel the muscles as well. When we sweat, it causes the muscles to lose water; when we don't have enough water our muscles get tired allowing us to do less reps.If you're trying to get that extra rep in and seem to fall short everyday, make sure you're getting in adequate amount of water.

Kidneys- As a guy, the image of trying to pass a STONE through my urethra sounds painful; if you're lucky it might be only one, if you're really lucky, it might be a really small one, something not dreadful, however if you just drink water, it allows the kidneys to do its job and clear away what the body doesn't need. The same rule applies for women but I know us guys can be stubborn at times. Our kidneys process 200 quarts of blood daily, sifting out waste and transporting urine to the bladder. Water is your friend. Save your luck for something else.

Pain prevention- Muscle cramps, aching joints, and strains can occur if the body is dehydrated. Some of us only drink a glass or two a day, which yeah you're drinking water but not enough. Avoid the unnecessary and doctor trips.

Improves mood- Drinking water can make us feel refreshed and improve our mood and state of mind. Mild dehydration is something that most suffer from and can lead to other complications. If one were to combine proper hydration with a healthy diet and exercise, drugs from pharmacies might not be in demand.

Living near water- This doesn't have to do much with us ingesting it but it still deals with the inner part of our body. A few studies have shown that people who live near the coast are more prevalent to good health. The studies aren't sure if its because of the sea air, greenery, or a few more chances to soak up some sunlight but whatever its is, spending time near the water makes us healthier. When you have a moment, take a trip to the beach, listen to the waves crash against the rocks and let the cool mist combined with the warm breeze hit your face. You owe it to yourself.

Swimming- I'm sure by now everyone knows that swimming is the best exercise for you. Swimming works out the whole body and I think I've mentioned before in another post, burns about 500 calories. If you've joined a gym, have a pool, or your local YMCA has a pool, take advantage of swimming.

Water all around can improve our well being, from the mind, physical, and spiritual. Some believe water is were man started so its only natural for us to corrode, deteriorate when water is lacking in our lives. For some people, they feel we're all going to die anyway so what's the point with all the healthy talk. Of course we are going to die but being healthy, kind to yourself is about living life to the fullest and not suffering in agonizing pain. For some, they can lead what others might see as an unhealthy life and that's fine if you lead that life and are not suffering, if anything you're blessed; however not everyone has that luck and if you don't, it's time to look at what changes you can make in order to make this experience we call life, fulfilling. Take notice of your health, even the slightest pains that show up every blue moon could be a sign of something bigger a head; don't ignore it. Hope this list was somewhat informational and if you have any questions or opinions you would like to add, please feel free to leave a comment, also check out my other writes, a lot of them are random but this blog is called "No Title" so any topic can come up.
