Sean Paul - I'm Still In Love With You TBT

Sean Paul's "I'm still in Love with you" is a nice introduction to dance hall music, with a Caribbean sound that makes you want to kick your feet up on a warm white sandy beach with a straw in a coconut or a few beers, or maybe both. The chill sound and the passion you hear amongst the two as they banter back and forth with each other was a different sound, as she confesses, "she's still in love with him" and he rebuttals with "Well I'm a hustler and a player and you know I'm not a strayer that's my dutty, dutty, love", then she repeats "I'm still in love with you boy", puts you in mind of a Pepe Le Pew kind of scenario, I know a funny comparison but the song is a light song, a flirty song, a fun song. The sexy (but not over the top sexy) fun, flirtatious song was released in August of 2003 off of Sean Paul's second album Dutty Rock. The song reached #6 in the UK,  #14 on the billboard hot 100, and number #13 on the US R&B charts. So I hope you enjoy the steamy, but tastefully done music video by Sean Paul feat Sasha and thank you for stopping by "No Title" the random blog. Black Eyed Peas Joints And Jam TBT

For today's TBT I present to you, the Black Eyed Peas Joints and Jam. It's not the best video as in quality, this was the only one I could find on You Tube that was clear, but this is pretty much the video. The video itself looked like it was fun to make. This song Joints and Jam was Black Eyed peas debut song, off their first studio album Behind the Front which was released in 1998. When the group started, they originally didn't have Fergie, a lot of hip-hop heads were sort of mad when Fergie joined in and they thought that Black eyed peas sold out. In my opinion, lyrically they were still bringing heat, they were still making hip-hop but appealing to a wider audience. I understand, Fergie bought in more of a pop element, but her pop element meeting real hip-hop worked. I mean, just because I'm partying doesn't mean I don't mind hearing a rapper still spit some dope lines, just nothing to heavy; that's where Fergie lightens up their music a bit. Black eyed peas was never a dark group but Hip-Hop can have a dark undertone which is why most hardcore hip-hop artist won't get radio spin or club spin. Well anyways, for today's TBT I present to you Joints and Jam by the Black Eyed Peas. Thank you for stopping by "No Title" the random blog. Feel free to roam around and check out some other writes, feel free to subscribe or if not, if you can please, click on those green links, that's how some of us bloggers get paid. Q-Tip - Things U Do TBT

One of my favorite Hip-Hop artist right here...this song was off the album Amplified which was released in 1999 and sold 89,000 copies in its first week. The album debuted number 28 on the US billboard charts  and in the early part of 2000, his album went gold. This was a good album so when you have a moment, check it out.
